Its very2 easy. Can do everyday & takes only 10 mins preparation.
250 butter (prefer Achor brd - salted)
250 sugar
4 eggs (A size)
250 self raising flour
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Add flour and lastly vanilla.
Beat until just incorporated. Do not overmix
Bake about 30-45mins (depending on your oven)

Note : Actually note really know between buttercake and pound cake, for me it is look the same.
